Area Operations Manager

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for setting and overseeing processes for luxury food and beverage and retail/store operations in a high-growth environment. Your key tasks will include managing retail, online, and offline sales, recruiting and retaining operational staff, project managing new store openings, maintaining company resources, tracking operational and financial information, building budgets and contingency plans, supporting store staff on operations, building best practices and SOPs for effective scaling, managing retail operations including inventory and shelf-life, and maintaining in-store visual merchandising. - Set and oversee processes for luxury food and beverage and retail/store operations - Manage retail, online, and offline sales to achieve targets - Recruit and retain operational staff - Project manage new store openings, liaising with vendors, real estate partners, and statutory authorities - Maintain and manage company resources, including furniture, fittings, hardware, POS, and vendor relationships - Track and measure operational and financial information against budgets - Build budgets and operational contingency plans for the future - Support store staff on operations as needed - Build best practices and SOPs for effective scaling of new stores - Manage retail operations, including inventory and shelf-life management - Maintain and build in-store visual merchandising Qualifications Required: - At least 7 years of experience in building and managing teams across multiple locations - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to multitask and work independently on projects - Good relationship-building capability - Hospitality background preferred - Outstanding knowledge of fine foods and service - Demonstrated problem-solving ability - Experience managing cafes and gourmet stores would be an added advantage The job type for this position is full-time, with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and Provident Fund. The schedule may involve day shifts or rotational shifts, and a performance bonus is offered. The work location is in person.,
