Planning & Budgeting : To make Annual Plan & Budget to achieve targeted short and long term asset reliability at optimal cost
Prepare yearly and long term budgets for rotary equipment maintenance and overhauling.
Monitor Plan Vs Actual Opex budget.Ensure Reliability of rotary equipment and plan accordingly.Use of latest technology for maintenance and keep updated history.Identify bad actor and work on it for long term reliability.
Systems, Policies & Procedures:
Implementing Working practices as per SOPs related to department functions.
Awareness on Energy policy, significant energy uses, Energy objectives and Energy Management System (EnMS).
Management of Condition Monitoring and Lube Oil Analysis
Condition Monitoring Activities
Condition Monitoring Schedule preparation as per criticality.
Vibration and Temperature data collection of defined equipment at defined measurement locations as per the weekly, fortnightly and monthly schedule by using SKF Microlog Vibration Analyzer.Vibration analysis of Rotary Equipment includes compressor, pumps, turbine, motors, and fans etc. using SKF aptitude Analyst software.Prepare health report for all monitored equipment schedule wise.Prepare Action Note based on the vibration data and feedback from Engineer.Data collection and analysis of equipment during startup or on call basis.Perform LLF on weekly basis for each unit, and report the abnormality.Perform Precise Alignment with Laser Alignment kit.Institution balancing of the critical equipment.Balancing at Workshop on ABRO balancing machines.Reviewing CM schedule regularly.
Oil Sampling & Analysis
Oil Sampling for critical rotating equipment as per schedule on monthly basis from the defined sampling point at equipment site. (Average 42 Samples per month).
Perform Oil analysis for collected sample on CSI 5200-Trivector analyzer. (Chemistry check, Wear check, Contamination check & Microscopic examination).Preparation of monthly oil analysis reports.Preparation of action note based on analysis.Maintain Inventory for consumables.Maintenance of Oil Analysis lab.
Online Vibration Data collection and Analysis
Online vibration data collection from Equipment Vibration monitoring system by using ADRE408 24-CH Instrument as per monthly schedule.
Data Collection during equipment startup and shut down, and perform transient data analysisSteady state data Analysis of collected data includes Trend Analysis, Spectrum analysis, orbit analysis, shaft centerline etc.Maintain data records in Software, Maintenance of ADRE instrumentsPreparation of Online data analysis report.Preparation of Machinery Database, regular review and update.System upgradation to latest technology.Calibration of all Condition monitoring equipment.
Root Cause Analysis / Trouble shooting.
Performing RCA for Bad Actors & preparing reports.
Troubleshooting rotary eqpt related problems.Correspondence with vendors.Maintain Equipment performance history.Analysis of Reliability issues in plant and recommend corrective measures.Prepare MIS/MPR report monthly.Support Maintenance team for overhauling, and critical maintenance jobs.Co-ordination with Operation, Maintenance team.
Team Management: To create, maintain and improve the maintenance team to achieve the team's objectives and continue to do so over time.
Work with coordination of area maintenance and operation team to resolve rotary equipment problems.
Sub-ordinate Development
To prepare the sub-ordinates for shouldering Higher responsibility by motivation, guidance and training.
