He / She will be responsible for ensuring designs comply with industry codes and standards, Site Coordination and risk assessment and coordinating with civil, instrumentation, Electrical and mechanical resolving approach to any issue.
Responsibilities
Piping Design / MOC Management
- Preparation of Plant GAD, Isometrics, MTO as per P&ID in MOC
- Coordination with Material group to provide MTO for Procurement of material
System Development & Implementation / Leadership Development and Clear Expectations
- Improving existing system (PDS, AutoCAD) for Refinery as per business demand
- Coordination with civil, mech., instru., for smooth implementation of schemes
Coordination Internal & External
- Technical corresponding with vendors, engineering agencies for Equipment drawings approvals
- Managing the Drawings deliverables
- Interacting with SAP / IT departments and obtain solutions for system related issues
Environment Management System
- Systems, Policies & Procedures: To be accountable for implementation and improvement of the EMS systems, procedures & policies in respective functional operations
- To ensure adherence to the all health, safety, and environment systems during all field activities
- General awareness on Environment Management in Refinery Operations
- Implementation of environment management procedures like Hazardous / Non Hazardous waste management
OHSMS
- HSEF - Care & Welfare: To achieve any safe and healthy work place. Authority: To stop any unsafe job on observation
- To address critical safety issue associated while Preparation of drawings / Plant visit
- Target “Zero” accident within the Section
Energy Management Systems 50001:2018
- Energy Management systems ISO 50001:2018
- Awareness about Energy policy, significant energy uses, Energy objectives and Energy Management System
- Monitoring and controlling of EnPIs, variables, baseline, Objective / Targets & Management programmes (Energy action plan) and Energy performance as applicable
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
- B.E. / Diploma / or Equivalent in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge in Design Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 2 years (B.E.) or 10 years (Diploma) in design engineering within large oil refinery, petrochemical, or fertilizer units
- Experience in Indian or Middle Eastern design companies in piping departments
Functional Skills
- In-depth knowledge of engineering drawings and materials
- Preparation of drawings as per Process MOC
- Familiarity with product specifications, quality parameters, environmental, safety, and energy management systems
- Understanding of procurement processes for materials and services
Behavioral Skills
- Effective planning and execution
- Strong communication and presentation skills
