Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 4 to 9 years of experience to join our team as an Area Credit Manager in Mid Corporate - Credit Appraisal, located in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate finance and credit appraisal.
Roles and Responsibility

Conduct due diligence on corporate, group, and promoters to assess

Analyze financial statements to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Understand proposal-related industry and market dynamics to inform credit assessments.

Perform site visits and personal discussions with promoters/CFOs to gather insights.

Prepare credit notes including deal-specific covenants and risk mitigation strategies.

Adhere to internal credit policies and capture deviations in credit notes.

Approve or recommend credit limits and transactions.

Monitor portfolio companies.

Job

Strong knowledge of credit appraisal principles and practices.

Experience in analyzing financial statements and identifying potential risks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.

Candidate should have product understanding for Term loans, Working capital, and structural products.

Role is sector agnostic and requires following skillsDue diligence of corporate, group, and promoters; Analysis of financials; Understanding Proposal related Industry and Market dynamics; Site visits and Personal discussions with Promoters/CFO; Preparation of credit notes along with stipulation of deal-specific covenants; Adherence of Internal Credit Policies and capturing the deviations accordingly in Credit Note; Approvals / recommendation of credit limits and transaction; Monitoring of Portfolio companies.
