About The Job
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Guidewire Jutro & JDP Architect to lead the architecture and delivery of next-generation digital experiences for insurance carriers using Guidewire’s Jutro Digital Platform (JDP). This role is critical in aligning enterprise digital strategies with Jutro capabilities, driving reuse, standardization, and scalability across customer and agent-facing applications.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end digital architecture using Guidewire Jutro, JDP, React.js, and Digital APIs.
- Establish design patterns and architectural blueprints for Jutro, JDP-based apps (Customer, Agent, FNOL, etc.).
- Drive the development of enterprise-grade reusable components, Storybook, design systems, and themes within JDP.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise IT, security, compliance, and scalability standards.
- Define frontend architecture patterns and enforce best practices for modular, reusable, and composable UI.
- Implement and guide developers on Micro Frontends (MFE) and domain-based component segregation.
- Lead the customization and extension of Jutro components and application scaffolds.
- Implement theme overrides, branding layers, and component compositions tailored to client needs.
- Guide integration with Guidewire core systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Contact Manager) through Digital APIs.
- Mentor JDP leads and developers on best practices, emerging patterns, and Guidewire’s evolving digital roadmap.
- Coordinate with UI/UX, Product Owners, and Backend teams for seamless integration and delivery.
- Create internal accelerators and documentation (architecture diagrams, decision logs, API contracts).
- Integrate Guidewire Edge APIs, REST services, and third-party systems with frontend apps.
- Mentor developers on Jutro capabilities, coding standards, and GenAI tools usage (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
- Define CI/CD pipelines, version control strategies, and code quality standards for JDP apps.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage secure, scalable, and high-performing deployment environments.
Requirements
- Guidewire Certifications (Digital Developer, Jutro, JDP App Developer, PC/BC/CC Integration)
- 12+ years in frontend/digital platforms, 4+ years in Guidewire Digital, 2+ years in Jutro & JDP.
- Minimum 2–3 full-cycle Jutro, JDP implementations.
- Deep understanding of Guidewire Jutro Framework, JDP concepts, and app lifecycle.
- Strong expertise in React.js, JSON-driven UI, and Jutro framework.
- Hands-on expertise in React, Angular, MFE, BFF Frameworks, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, Styled Components, Design Tokens and ESLint-based coding standards.
- In-depth understanding of Guidewire Digital Portals and underlying configurations.
- Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot, LLM-assisted coding, or AI-integrated development pipelines.
- Proven experience in architecting and scaling digital platforms in the insurance domain.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and application monitoring (APM).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
