About Docyt

Docyt is a business automation platform that leverages AI to simplify document management, accounting, and financial operations. Our Android app helps businesses manage workflows, automate expenses, and access real-time financial insights on the go.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain features in Docyt’s Android application.
Implement intuitive and responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose and traditional Android Views.
Integrate with REST APIs, AWS services, and Firebase.
Work on modules such as document scanning, banking integration, expense reporting, and real-time chat.
Write and maintain unit and UI tests to ensure high-quality code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design, and backend to deliver robust features.

Requirements

Required Skills

2–3 years of Android development experience.
Strong command of Kotlin and working knowledge of Java.
Experience with Jetpack libraries (Compose, Navigation, CameraX, Room, ViewModel, LiveData).
Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, Repository pattern, and Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt with KSP).
Proficiency with Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON parsing.
Hands-on experience writing tests using JUnit, Espresso, MockK, and Robolectric.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
Experience in multi-module projects and Material Design principles.
Experience working with third-party messaging libraries like SendBird or Faye Chat Client would be a plus.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like Cursor IDE or GitHub Copilot is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
