Android Developer

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Android Developer to join our mobile

development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Android app

development and a keen interest in building robust, user-centric applications. You will be

responsible for developing new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring app

stability and performance.

Position: Android Developer

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features

• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS/email providers, and

Firebase for push notifications and analytics

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through unit

testing and code reviews

• Work with RESTful APIs and JSON data formats to connect with backend services

• Fix bugs and performance bottlenecks, and continuously optimize the app

• Participate in the complete app lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, deploy, and

release

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code

• Participate in code versioning using Git and follow standard branching/merging

practices

• Submit Android applications for client review and release them to the Google Play

Store

• Support integration with hardware components (e.g., GPS, Bluetooth, BLE), if required

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Android development

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and Android architecture components

• Experience with Android debugging, testing frameworks, and app performance tools

• Proficiency in integrating third-party services like:

- Payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.)

- SMS and email providers (Twilio, SendGrid, etc.)

- Firebase for push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting

• Experience with version control systems, especially Git

• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX design standards and platform-specific

guidelines

• Familiarity with backend integration, API documentation, and working alongside

backend teams

• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and clear technical documentation

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with React Native projects or iOS mobile development

• Exposure to UX design discussions and applying platform-specific best practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment workflow
