Analytics Engineer

Position Summary

The Analytics Engineer will support and maintain current BI and reporting systems (SSRS, Power BI, SSIS/SSAS, Azure Data Factory) while advancing the organization’s analytics capabilities. This role is pivotal in enabling self-service analytics, integrating AI and machine learning insights, and ensuring a scalable data environment that empowers business stakeholders with timely, accurate, and future-ready analytics. This position is based in Hyderabad, India.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide BI/reporting support across SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs and data refresh processes.
• Enhance performance and usability of dashboards and reports.
• Standardize reusable data assets to enable self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with data science teams to embed AI/ML-driven insights into analytics delivery.
• Balance support of current infrastructure with continuous innovation in advanced analytics.
• Provide day-to-day production support of analytics platforms, ensuring up time, data accuracy, and SLA adherence.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, including failures, data refresh issues and user access related issues.
• Adapt to shifting client priorities and time zones, ensuring flexibility in delivery.
• Take on responsibilities beyond the role when required, demonstrating startup agility and a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Expertise in BI tools: SSRS, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS.
• Proficiency in SQL Server query optimization and tuning.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and data warehouse schema design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder communication.
• Exposure to AI/ML model integration in analytics workflows is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of BI and reporting support experience.
• Strong technical foundation in BI platforms and Azure ecosystem.
