Role Objective

AI/ML Engineer (Core Algorithm & Model Expert)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy ML/DL models using

  naval/domain-specific datasets

  .
• Fine-tune and optimize

  open-source LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Whisper, Wav2Vec, Conformer, GPT, BERT)

  for mission-specific applications.
• Preprocess, annotate, and augment datasets for robust model training.
• Implement

  model compression, pruning, quantization

  for optimized inference.
• Build

  translation systems, speech-to-text, multilingual NLP

  pipelines.
• Develop reproducible ML pipelines with

  MLFlow/DVC/Weights & Biases

  .
• Collaborate with backend engineers for integration (ONNX, TorchScript).
• Generate

  reusable inference modules

  deployable on cloud, edge, and microservices.
• Apply

  RLHF, LoRA, QLoRA, Instruction Tuning, SFT

  for LLM fine-tuning.
• Ensure

  security, adversarial robustness, and data sanitization

  in model development.

Required Skills & Tools

• Programming:

  Python (expert), C++/Rust (preferred).

• Frameworks:

  PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenCV.

• ML Concepts:

  Transformers, GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models, RAG, Explainable AI (SHAP, LIME).

• Optimization Tools:

  ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, TorchScript.

• MLOps:

  Git, MLFlow, DVC, Weights & Biases, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Deployment:

  Experience deploying on

  GPU/edge servers

  in real-time environments.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech

  in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong academic record (

  ≥75% marks or 8.0 CGPA

  ).
• Certifications in

  Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, TensorFlow/PyTorch, or Cloud ML (AWS/GCP/Azure/NVIDIA)

  are highly desirable.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years

  of hands-on AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Experience in at least

  two major AI domains (e.g., NLP + CV, Speech + Generative AI, etc.)

  .
• Proven record of

  production-scale model deployment

  and optimization.
• Contributions to

  open-source AI frameworks

  a strong plus.
• Prior experience in

  defense, critical systems, or real-time AI applications

  is desirable.
