AI Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of algorithm engineers, ensuring technical guidance, career growth, and delivery excellence.
• Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure for deployment and execution of algorithms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to design and implement robust, scalable solutions.
• Optimize algorithm performance, efficiency, and resource utilization to meet business objectives.
• Stay updated with advancements in computer vision, image processing, ML/DL, and infrastructure technologies, applying them to improve systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. + 6 years industry experience, OR M.Tech + 8 years, OR B.Tech + 10 years.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Manager (Team Lead experience alone not sufficient).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in programming (Python / C++ / CUDA).
• 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Deep Learning.
• 2–3 years of experience in Image Processing and Computer Vision.
• Proven experience in product companies (engineering product environment strongly preferred).
• Stable career track record (minimum 2 years tenure in each role).
• Willingness to relocate to Chennai.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from Tier-1 institutions (IIT, IIIT, NIT, VIT, etc.).
• Experience with high performance computing, parallel programming, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with GPU architecture and algorithm development toolkits (Docker, Apptainer).
• Candidates from semiconductor or manufacturing domains preferred.
• Strong academic record (8+ CGPA is a plus).
