AI Information Security Specialist
Your role: AI Information Security Specialist
What is the Role?
This role focuses on securing AI/ML systems across their entire lifecycle — from data ingestion and model training to deployment and inference.

You’ll be responsible for helping organizations:
- Identify and mitigate security and privacy risks in AI/ML systems
- Implement AI-specific security controls and monitoring mechanisms
- Align AI deployments with frameworks such as
NIST AI RMF
and ISO/IEC 42001
- Promote responsible, ethical, and secure AI practices across the organization
What You’ll Do
- Conduct
threat modeling and risk assessments
for AI/ML systems, including data pipelines, training, and inference workflows - Assess AI systems for
security vulnerabilities, privacy risks, and ethical implications
- Design and implement
AI-focused information security controls
- Collaborate with data science, DevSecOps, and IT teams to embed
security and privacy by design
into the AI lifecycle - Monitor AI environments for
anomalous behavior, adversarial attacks, and model/data integrity issues
- Drive AI governance initiatives aligned with
NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and global AI regulations
- Ensure compliance with relevant
privacy and security laws
for AI data processing - Support
AI model audits, explainability reviews, and algorithmic impact assessments
- Maintain secure AI environments through
access control, encryption, logging, and monitoring
- Contribute to
incident response
involving AI/ML systems - Conduct internal
training and awareness sessions
on AI security and responsible AI
What You Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or related field
5–8 years of experience
in Information Security, including 2–3 years working with AI/ML systems
- Strong understanding of
cybersecurity principles, secure development, and threat modeling
- Practical knowledge of
AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management
- Experience conducting
security and privacy risk assessments
for AI initiatives - Familiarity with
OWASP ML Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RMF
- Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
(Docker, Kubernetes) - Hands-on experience with
monitoring, logging, anomaly detection, and audit trails
in AI environments
Requirements
- Professionals with
5–8 years of post-qualification experience
in Information Security - Hands-on exposure to
AI/ML security, governance, or MLOps environments
- Experience supporting
AI audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments
- Ability to work cross-functionally with
technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
