Job Title: AI Full stack Architect

About the Role:

As a Staff Software Engineer and our Full Stack Tech Lead, you will be the cornerstone of our engineering team, taking ownership of the technical direction and execution of our user-facing applications. This is a role for a "founding engineer" type who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about building exceptional products from the ground up.

You will have a direct and significant impact on our application's architecture, working with a modern tech stack to build scalable, high-quality systems. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions, all while championing technical excellence and mentoring your peers. This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor with technical depth similar to a Head of Engineering but without the formal people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

● Frontend Architecture & Leadership: Lead the design and architecture of our frontend solutions, making key technology decisions to ensure they are scalable, performant, and maintainable. Own the frontend roadmap and technical vision.

● Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs using FastAPI (Python), integrating with Postgres databases. Drive the implementation of user-facing features using ReactJS, TypeScript, ViteJS, and React Query.

● Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (e.g., Lightsail, RDS, S3) using Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform.

● Code Quality & Mentorship: Champion software engineering best practices by writing clean, maintainable code, conducting insightful code reviews, and actively mentoring other engineers to elevate the team's skills.

● Strategic Collaboration: Work as a strategic partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design) to translate product vision into technical reality, leading technical discussions and driving decisions.

● Performance & Scalability: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks at both the application and infrastructure levels, ensuring our systems are responsive and well-observed.

Qualifications:

● 10+ years of software engineering experience with a demonstrable track record of building and scaling complex, user-centric web applications.

● Deep expertise in modern frontend architecture and technologies, including ReactJS, TypeScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React Query, ViteJS).

● Strong backend development experience, preferably with Python (FastAPI) and relational databases like Postgres.

● Proven experience in a "founding engineer" or early-stage startup role, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

● Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

● A strong understanding of RESTful API design, system architecture, and CI/CD best practices.

● Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a natural ability to mentor others and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
