AI Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Core Computer Vision Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work on designing and implementing cutting-edge computer vision solutions, focusing on core algorithm development, optimisation, and deployment across a variety of real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement classical and deep learning–based computer vision algorithms to address challenges in image and video analysis.
• Work on fundamental areas such as feature extraction, image matching, object tracking, motion analysis, and 3D reconstruction.
• Preprocess and annotate large-scale image and video datasets for algorithm development and benchmarking.
• Develop and optimise object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation, and recognition systems.
• Enhance computational efficiency of algorithms for deployment in real-time and embedded environments.
• Research, prototype, and benchmark advanced CV algorithms for scalability and robustness.
• Integrate traditional vision techniques with machine learning and AI models where necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive end-to-end solutions and conduct thorough code/documentation reviews.
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in computer vision research and development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (familiarity with Java is a plus).
• Solid understanding of core computer vision concepts (edge detection, filtering, optical flow, camera calibration, epipolar geometry, 3D reconstruction).
• Experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, scikit-image) and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Exposure to image/video processing, feature engineering, and model optimisation techniques.
• Experience with GPU computing (CUDA, cuDNN) and parallel processing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based ML/CV services is an advantage.
• Understanding of point cloud processing, LiDAR, and 3D vision concepts is a plus.
