About the Role

Senior AI Developer


Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Technical Contribution & Solution Delivery (40%)

  • Lead the design and development of

    POCs, demo applications, and production-grade solutions

    using AI/ML frameworks (Python, OpenAI API, PHP, SQL).
  • Oversee

    data preparation, model development, testing, and deployment

    for internal and client-facing projects.
  • Ensure

    repositories are standardized, reusable, version-controlled (Git)

    , and follow best practices.
  • Develop

    automation utilities and accelerators

    to optimize project delivery timelines.
  • Perform

    code reviews

    and provide guidance to junior developers.

2. Client-Facing Engagement (25%)

  • Own

    demo preparation and delivery

    , including slides, mockups, test data, and client presentations.
  • Conduct

    internal dry runs

    and coach the team for client-facing readiness.
  • Prepare

    technical documentation, release notes, feature summaries, and user guides

    .
  • Capture and analyze

    client feedback

    to refine demos and align with business needs.
  • Act as a

    technical SME

    in client meetings, explaining AI solutions in clear, business-friendly language.

3. Communication & Collaboration (20%)

  • Proactively update progress, risks, and blockers in

    Jira/Trello/Asana

    .
  • Collaborate with

    business analysts, solution architects, and developers

    to bridge technical and business expectations.
  • Mentor junior AI developers, guiding them on

    coding, documentation, and client communication

    .
  • Promote

    knowledge-sharing and cross-functional collaboration

    across teams.

4. Learning, R&D & Innovation (15%)

  • Stay ahead of

    emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and cloud platforms

    , and evaluate their applicability to projects.
  • Conduct

    monthly knowledge-sharing sessions

    to upskill the team.
  • Build and maintain a

    personal and team portfolio of accelerators, case studies, and re-usable assets

    .
  • Pursue relevant

    AI certifications and training

    to enhance team capability.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Deliver

    3–4 high-quality, client-ready POCs/prototypes per quarter

    .
  • Achieve

    100% demo readiness

    with error-free execution and supporting documentation.
  • Mentor and upskill at least

    2 junior developers per project cycle

    .
  • Ensure

    repository reusability and coding standards compliance

    across 100% of deliverables.
  • Receive

    positive client feedback

    on clarity and value of AI-driven solutions.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in

    Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field

    .
  • 4–7 years of experience in

    AI/ML solution development

    with proven client-facing exposure.


Technical Skills

  • Expertise in

    Python

    and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face).
  • Hands-on experience with

    OpenAI APIs, LLM fine-tuning, and NLP projects

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    SQL, PHP, and data engineering workflows

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and cloud platforms

    (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in

    model deployment, API integration, and scalable architectures

    .
