Job Description


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions for our real estate business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the non-IT sector, preferably from real estate, construction, architecture, or manufacturing industries. The role involves overseeing strategic HR initiatives, ensuring smooth HR operations, and driving a culture of performance, engagement, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with senior management to align HR strategy with organizational goals.
  • Drive HR initiatives that enhance productivity, retention, and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee manpower planning and organizational structuring in line with business expansion.

Performance Management

  • Design and implement robust Performance Management Systems (PMS) to promote a high-performance culture.
  • Facilitate goal-setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Support leaders in identifying and developing high-potential employees.

Learning & Development

  • Assess training needs and drive learning initiatives to build managerial and technical capabilities.
  • Manage onboarding programs, soft skills training, and leadership development interventions.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the companys culture and values.
  • Address employee grievances promptly and effectively.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs to enhance morale and retention.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishments, etc.) across all locations.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Review and update compensation structures to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Oversee annual appraisal cycles and incentive plans.

Recruitment Coordination

  • Work closely with department heads to define manpower requirements and approve staffing plans.
  • Coordinate with external partners or internal teams for key senior-level hiring. (Note: Talent Acquisition is not the core responsibility.)

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Masters Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in real estate, construction, or related non-IT industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record in implementing PMS, L&D, and employee engagement frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment with multiple stakeholders.
