Job Description

Role Overview

As AGM – Business Development (MICE), you will spearhead strategic growth in the corporate travel and events segment. You’ll drive revenue through high-impact partnerships, client acquisition, and customized MICE solutions across domestic and international markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales & Growth

  • Develop and execute business development plans to expand MICE clientele.
  • Identify high-value corporate accounts and pitch tailored MICE solutions.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through structured outreach.
  • Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with CXOs, HR heads, and procurement teams.
  • Lead negotiations, proposals, and presentations for large-scale events and incentive travel.
  • Product & Solutioning

  • Collaborate with operations and creative teams to design compelling MICE packages.
  • Stay ahead of trends in experiential travel, destination marketing, and event tech.
  • Team Leadership

  • Mentor and guide a team of BD executives and account managers.
  • Drive performance through KPIs, training, and motivational frameworks.
  • Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging destinations.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.


Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in MICE sales, preferably with a travel agency or DMC.
  • Strong network across corporates, event planners, and procurement circles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, budgeting, and proposal writing.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site inspections.
