The Position:
We are seeking an experienced
Agile Coach
to lead the transformation and adoption of Agile methodologies across our global teams. This role plays a key part in shaping enterprise-level agility, fostering collaboration, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.As an Agile Coach, you will partner with teams, leaders, and stakeholders to enhance delivery effectiveness, drive SAFe Agile best practices, and support teams in achieving their strategic goals. You will lead workshops, guide Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and mentor individuals to ensure consistent, scalable Agile implementation throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Champion the implementation of SAFe Agile practices across global teams, fostering alignment and collaboration.
- Lead Agile workshops and coaching sessions for cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
- Design and execute tailored coaching plans for teams and roles based on current maturity levels.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Guide teams in adopting and refining Agile techniques to align with organizational strategy.
- Lead and mentor Scrum Masters and Agile team coaches to build high-performing teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, developing Agile leadership and measurable KPIs.
- Lead Agile Communities of Practice (CoPs) to share learnings and promote organizational agility.
- Implement Agile metrics and maturity assessments to measure transformation success.
- Provide one-on-one coaching to leaders and team members to foster behavioral and mindset shifts.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software development or project/program management.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile or Scrum Master roles, preferably in large-scale environments.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level Agile transformations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required.
- SAFe® 6 Practice Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of SAFe Agile values, principles, and scaling practices.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies, workshops, and leadership training.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Ability to coach at multiple levels — team, program, and enterprise.
- Passion for mentoring others and driving a culture of learning and agility.
Other Details
Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 10%.
