Role & responsibilities:

• Test agent-based software, APIs, and backend services across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

• Automate testing using Python (PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium) and API tools (Postman, Newman, REST Assured).

• Validate telemetry, event logs, and database interactions (Elasticsearch, MySQL).

• Perform functional, regression, performance, security, and system-level testing.

• Manage test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).

• Conduct load and performance testing with JMeter, Locust, or similar tools.

• Collaborate with developers for debugging, optimization, and seamless agent–backend communication.

• Track defects, generate reports, and perform bug analysis using JIRA/Azure Boards.

• Work with security teams for vulnerability assessments and agent-level security testing.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong experience in manual and automated testing of agent-based, API, backend, and web applications.

• Proficiency in Python automation using PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver, and Locust.

• Hands-on testing of security agents with endpoint monitoring, process validation, and event analysis.

• Skilled in API testing with Postman, REST Assured, OpenAPI, and Swagger.

• Ability to validate data using MySQL queries and perform indexing/query testing in Elasticsearch.

• Experience in system-level testing on Windows, Linux, and macOS (telemetry, file system, network validation).

• Knowledge of CI/CD automation pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.

• Expertise in load and performance testing tools like JMeter and Locust.

• Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure Boards, TestRail).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Azure Repos) and preferred exposure to cybersecurity tools, Docker, IIS, and cloud (Azure/AWS).
