About the Role:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven AM/AGM – Business Development (FinTech) to drive end-to-end sales, build strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The role involves managing the full sales cycle and occasional travel for client meetings and presentations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the banking and financial services sector (BFSI).

• Pitch and sell AI-driven software products/SaaS solutions to decision-makers (CXOs, CIOs, CTOs) in banks and NBFCs.

• Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation, proposal building, product demo, negotiation, and closure.

• Build long-term relationships with clients and develop account plans to increase wallet share.

• Collaborate with internal tech/product teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements.

• Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the BFSI space.

• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM hygiene.

• Follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and close sales opportunities.

• Assist in gathering and analysing data related to customer demographics, preferences, and buying habits. • Track industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to support go-to-market planning.

• Help build and maintain a qualified lead database using LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and CRM tools.

• Analyse customer behaviour, feedback, and usage data to refine messaging and positioning.

• Conduct client meetings (virtual & on-site) to understand requirements and propose tailored solutions


Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of B2B software sales experience, specifically in selling to banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in selling SaaS / AI/analytics / digital transformation solutions.

• Strong understanding of banking processes, digital lending, etc.

• Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a start-up environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets/Excel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs, etc.

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive, “figure it out” attitude — we’re a small team, so you’ll wear many hats.

• Bonus: Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
