Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Instructional Designer to lead the development of high-quality, engaging, and effective training programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and modern eLearning technologies. You will work closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to create innovative learning solutions that meet the needs of a diverse audience. Key Responsibilities Design and Develop Learning Solutions : Create and design both instructor-led and eLearning courses, blended learning programs, and digital training materials. Utilize adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create effective learning experiences. Lead Project Development : Lead and manage complex instructional design projects, from initial needs analysis through to final delivery and evaluation. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with Stakeholders : Partner with internal teams (HR, subject matter experts, and leadership) to understand business goals and training requirements. Translate these requirements into targeted, high-quality learning solutions. Continuous Improvement : Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and performance data. Continuously improve content and delivery methods based on data and learner insights. Content Creation & Curation : Write clear, concise, and engaging content for eLearning modules, participant guides, job aids, and other learning materials. Ensure content aligns with the organization's tone, culture, and brand guidelines. Facilitate Learning : Occasionally facilitate training sessions or workshops, providing support to learners as needed. Mentor Junior Designers : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior instructional designers, helping them refine their skills and build their expertise. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, Communications, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Experience : At least 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective learning solutions for diverse audiences. Experience in a senior or lead role is highly desirable. Skills And Competencies Expertise in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Blooms Taxonomy, etc.). Strong proficiency with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.). Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP). Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g., Final Cut, Adobe Premiere) is a plus. Solid understanding of adult learning principles and performance-based learning solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
