Associate Manager – Counselling

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of academic counsellors to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and feedback discussions to enhance team productivity.
• Create a result-oriented and collaborative work environment within the counselling team.

Counselling & Sales Strategy

• Guide students and parents in selecting suitable

  Power Batch programs

  for JEE/NEET based on academic goals.
• Drive the entire counselling process — from inquiry to enrollment — ensuring high conversion ratios.
• Analyze student data, parent feedback, and lead performance to improve counselling strategies.

Communication & Coordination

• Coordinate closely with the academic, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth functioning of the Power Batch department.
• Handle escalations with professionalism and provide the best possible resolution to students/parents.
• Maintain effective communication within the team to align on goals and performance metrics.

Process & Reporting

• Monitor the complete sales funnel, from lead generation to closures, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate records of team performance, admissions data, and daily MIS reports.
• Identify gaps in the counselling process and suggest improvements for efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:

  3–6 years in counselling/sales within the

  JEE/NEET segment

  (EdTech or institute background preferred).

• Team Management:

  Proven experience in handling and mentoring a counselling/sales team.

• Communication Skills:

  Excellent spoken & written English with strong persuasion and interpersonal abilities.

• Tech Skills:

  Proficiency in CRM tools and Excel for data tracking and reporting.

• Mindset:

  Goal-driven, strategic thinker with a passion for student success and academic excellence.
