Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tender Manager to lead the preparation and submission of tenders for construction projects. The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the entire bidding process—right from tender identification to proposal submission—ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, and legal requirements. This role requires strong coordination with engineering, costing, legal, and commercial teams. Key Responsibilities: Identify and analyze new tender opportunities from government portals, clients, and private organizations. Study and review tender documents , including technical specifications , BOQ , drawings , contract clauses , and eligibility criteria . Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, estimation, contracts, finance) for bid strategy , costing , and document preparation . Ensure timely preparation and submission of pre-qualification documents , RFIs , and clarifications to clients. Prepare bid summaries , costing sheets , rate analyses , and pricing strategies . Manage and review technical and commercial submissions for accuracy and compliance. Maintain a record of all tenders submitted and track outcomes. Develop and maintain relationships with clients , consultants , JV partners , and vendors . Ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and company policies. Lead post-tender negotiations , clarifications, and contract finalization if awarded. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering , Construction Management , or related field; MBA is an added advantage. 5–10 years of experience in tendering , bidding , or business development within the construction or infrastructure sector. Strong knowledge of contract types , procurement processes , CPWD/MORTH/State PWD norms , and bid evaluation criteria . Proficiency in MS Office , AutoCAD , project management , and tendering portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, eProcurement). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in bidding for government/public infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, buildings, railways, water supply). Understanding of project costing , risk assessment , and legal aspects of contracts . Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Leadership skills and team coordination capabilities.
