Position : Quality Control - Adhesives Company : Astral Adhesives Limited Location : Dahej, Gujarat Experience Required : 2-3 years Qualification : B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry About the Role: Astral Adhesives is looking for an experienced Quality Control Analyst to join its QC team at the Dahej manufacturing facility . The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed adhesive quality analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC) and other lab instruments to ensure raw materials and finished goods meet set specifications. Key Responsibilities: Quality Testing & GC Operation: Conduct routine and advanced analytical testing of adhesives using GC , viscosity meters, pH meters, and other instruments. Analyze raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure adherence to technical specifications. Prepare and inject samples into Gas Chromatograph (GC) and interpret chromatograms for content and purity analysis. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of analysis, results, and instrument calibrations. Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, ISO standards, and safety protocols. Prepare COAs (Certificate of Analysis) and maintain batch-wise quality documentation. Process Support & Coordination: Provide timely feedback to production teams on product quality. Assist in investigating product deviations or failures , and support troubleshooting using analytical findings. Participate in internal audits and implement corrective and preventive actions.
