Job Title: Team Leader

Salary: ₹4.80 LPA to ₹6.00 LPA

Location : Mulund

Experience: 7 to 8 years (Mandatory, preferably in a CA Firm)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Team Leader to supervise and lead a team of accountants. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of accountants by assigning tasks, guiding them, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, GST, and TDS.
• Review financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and senior management to analyze financial data and support strategic decisions.
• Develop and implement accounting processes, internal controls, and best practices to improve financial operations.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records and support statutory audits; identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
• Train, mentor, and upskill team members to strengthen their accounting and compliance knowledge.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities and provide insights based on financial trends.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
• Drive process automation and efficiencies to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors; provide required documentation and address audit observations.
• Work closely with finance and HR teams on payroll, tax filings, and employee benefits.
• Monitor key financial indicators, identify variances, and prepare management-level financial reports.
• Promote a collaborative and positive work environment with strong teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• CA Final Dropout candidates are eligible to apply.
• 7–8 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in a CA firm.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory audits.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP systems) and MS Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
