Summary:

The Credit Controller is responsible for managing the credit accounts of the company's customers, ensuring that payments are received on time and in full. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of credit and collections procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to business clients for timely payment follow-ups.
• Manage customer credit accounts and ensure prompt recovery of outstanding dues.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues, disputes, or billing concerns.
• Negotiate and arrange suitable payment terms with customers when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
• Monitor customer creditworthiness and take proactive steps to minimize financial risk.
• Investigate and address customer credit inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client communications and credit transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable credit and collections laws and company policies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices related to credit control and collections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of credit and collections procedures
• Professional approach to client communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
