Presales Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

In this role as a GCP Presales Engineer, you will play a crucial part in driving business growth through your technical expertise and customer-facing skills. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the sales team to identify, qualify, and cultivate opportunities for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Key Responsibilities: - Understand customer business, technical, and commercial expectations. - Design solutions that align with the customer's business and commercial needs. - Conduct customer presentations and whiteboard sessions to showcase solutions. - Evangelize cloud technologies to customers. - Craft and communicate strategic cloud computing solutions at an enterprise level. - Engage deeply with the sales team to secure opportunities. - Coordinate with the operations team to deliver proposed solutions. - Establish technical relationships with delivery teams, prospects, and existing customers to enhance overall engagement. Qualifications: - The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills with experience in solution architecture (implementation/consulting). - Demonstrated experience in architecting or implementing Cloud solutions for enterprise customers. - Thorough understanding of traditional On-premise IT infrastructure and the ability to map it to cloud services. - Participation in the RFI/RFP process, developing technical aspects of proposals tailored to customer requirements. - Ability to engineer complex Bids/RFPs supported by service and solutions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively across internal and external organizations. - GCP Associate Engineer Certification is preferred.
