Melvic Construction (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at our Panchkula location. As an integral part of our finance department, the Accounts Officer will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Team Management:
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to optimize team performance.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies and goals aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market trends.
  • Systems and Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting systems and procedures.
  • Streamline financial workflows to enhance accuracy, productivity, and data integrity.
  • Software: Xero, QuickBooks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Good verbal, written English communication skills

Education: B.Com, M.com / MBA Finance, ICWA, CA

Shift: Day Shift

Timing: 6:00 am to 3 Pm. (Saturday will be half day)

Working days: Five and half day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
