Job Description

About the Role

Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage the overall accounting operations including
accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
.
Ensure timely preparation and finalization of
financial statements
as per
Indian Accounting Standards
.
Oversee statutory compliance related to
GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax
, and other applicable laws.
Coordinate with auditors for
internal and statutory audits
and ensure all audit requirements are met on time.
Review and implement
accounting policies, processes, and controls
to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare and monitor
monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
and variance analysis.
Manage
cash flow, working capital, and fund management
effectively.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, vendors, and government authorities for financial matters.
Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff to maintain high performance standards.
Provide management with timely
MIS reports and financial insights
for strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification:
MBA (Finance) / M. Com or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years in accounting & finance with
strong exposure to Indian accounting systems
.
In-depth knowledge of
Indian taxation laws, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements
.
Proficiency in
accounting software
(Tally ERP) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
