Role & responsibilities : Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in solar inverters (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid), AC/DC wiring, and other system components. Operation & Maintenance (O&M): Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Site Inspection & Testing: Perform site visits for performance checks, insulation testing, earthing checks, and system efficiency monitoring. Remote Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor plant performance using online portals and diagnose faults or under performance issues remotely. Installation Support (if required): Provide technical support during new system commissioning or upgrades. Report Preparation: Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and customer feedback records. Customer Support: Handle customer complaints, explain system performance, and provide basic user training. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work follows electrical safety standards, use of PPE, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and clients to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Preferred candidate profile The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in servicing rooftop solar power systems ranging from 3 kW to 50 kW . They must hold an ITI/Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field . Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving faults in on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar inverters , along with strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems , is essential. The candidate should be comfortable using diagnostic tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and meggers , and should be capable of interpreting single-line diagrams and wiring layouts . Good communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and willingness to travel for on-site service across regions (e.g., Kanpur, Lucknow) are important. Candidates with knowledge of remote monitoring systems and service reporting will be preferred . Safety-conscious and team-oriented individuals are highly desirable

System Design Recommendation : Suggest suitable solar PV systems (on-grid/off-grid/hybrid) based on technical and financial analysis. Proposal & Quotation Preparation : Prepare and present tailored proposals, including ROI calculations, payback period, and subsidy benefits. Technical Presentation : Explain system components (solar panels, inverters, batteries, etc.) and their function in an easy-to-understand manner. Policy & Subsidy Guidance : Guide customers through net metering, DISCOM approvals, MNRE/state subsidies, and related documentation.
