Accounts Executive

Job Title: Accounts Executive – Claims Processing for a FMCG Co Location: Othakalmandapam, Coimbatore Qualification: B.Com Experience: Minimum 2–5 years preferably in FMCG/Distribution-based companies) Job Summary: The Accounts Executive will be responsible for end-to-end processing, verification, and settlement of distributor claims, trade load offers, damage claims, and travel claims of the sales team. The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent Excel skills, accuracy in documentation, and effective communication for coordination across departments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Claims Processing & Verification Process and verify distributor scheme claims, incentives, and trade load offers as per company policies. Validate damage/expiry product claims received from distributors and coordinate with sales and warehouse teams for approvals. Verify and settle travel claims of sales staff, ensuring compliance with travel policies and entitlement norms. Maintain proper documentation and track pending claims for timely closure. 2. Financial & Accounting Support Ensure accurate posting of claims in the accounting system. Reconcile claim accounts periodically and ensure zero discrepancies. Coordinate with the finance team for timely payments to distributors and staff. 3. MIS & Reporting Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to scheme utilization, claim status, ageing reports, and financial summaries. Generate weekly/monthly dashboards for management review. Provide analytical insights for cost optimization and claim trends. 4. Coordination & Communication Work closely with the Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams to resolve query gaps. Communicate claim approvals, rejections, and clarifications to distributors and internal teams. Ensure professional communication with good command of English. Skills Required: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, MIS dashboards). Strong analytical and numerical ability. Good English communication skills (written & verbal). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (preferred). Educational Qualification: B.Com Salary: Maximum gross up to 27 K PM
