Accounts Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage the financial operations at our Erode branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting, with a proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance. This role requires someone with 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in a retail or similar fast-paced environment, capable of handling a broad range of accounting tasks independently. Key Responsibilities: * Financial Record Management: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents. * Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collection from customers. * Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly. * Manage petty cash and expense reimbursements. * Statutory Compliance & Taxation: * Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances relevant to the retail industry in India. * Assist in the preparation of data for income tax assessments and audits. * Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and financial regulations in India and ensure compliance. * Financial Reporting & Analysis: * Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. * Provide support in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the branch. * Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in cost control and revenue generation.
