We are looking for accountant who is a financial professional who prepares, analyzes, and reports on financial transactions and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include creating financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and assisting with tax filings. They also provide financial advice to management, help with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure the organization adheres to all financial laws and guidelines. Core responsibilities Financial record-keeping: Maintain and manage daily financial transactions, general ledger accounts, and other financial records. Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal tax regulations and other accounting laws and standards. Tax preparation: Prepare and file tax returns, and provide recommendations for future tax planning. Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the creation and management of budgets and cash flow. Audits: Conduct internal audits and work with external auditors, providing necessary documentation. Accounts payable/receivable: Process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and prepare payments. Payroll: Manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate processing of wages and deductions.
