Accountant with Operations Job Description: Accountant with Operations Exposure – Software Company Position: Accountant (with Operations Exposure) Location: Indore Experience: 3 - 4 Years only Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with exposure to business operations in a software company . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and assisting in operational processes to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance: • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations. • Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax filings in compliance with regulations. • Handle payroll processing, vendor payments, and expense management. • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support financial planning. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies. Operations & Business Support: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Sales, Procurement) to streamline financial workflows. • Assist in contract reviews, vendor negotiations, and operational cost optimisation. • Support procurement and inventory management for software tools and licenses. • Help implement process improvements to enhance financial and operational efficiency. • Participate in financial audits and internal process reviews. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a software/IT company. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Zoho Books, Tally) and MS Excel. • Strong understanding of tax regulations, GST, and financial compliance. • Exposure to operational processes such as vendor management and procurement. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
