Key Responsibilities

• Gold and Silver Stock Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of precious metal inventory, including accurate stock reconciliation, valuation, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods in Tally or an ERP system.
• Bookkeeping & Financial Records: Maintain accurate, day-to-day financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance, analyze costs (material, labor, overhead), and provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making and profit maximization.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and central financial regulations (e.g., GAAP, GST, TDS) and coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software like Tally (TallyPrime/Tally ERP 9) and MS Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, Macros).
• Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of inventory control, cost accounting, and specific tax regulations within the gold and silver jewellery sector is mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
