Job Description

Job Description: Pelican Hospitality is a company that runs multiple hotels/restaurants in Pune. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant proficient in Tally software to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with taxation requirements, and supporting the organization’s overall financial health. Key Responsibilities: Daily data entry of financial transactions into Tally Bank reconciliation and maintenance of accurate bank records Preparation of Profit & Loss statements and basic financial reports Management of payouts and tracking vendor payments Payroll and salary processing TDS calculations, deductions, and timely returns filing GST billing, reconciliation, and filing Coordination with auditors and consultants as needed General bookkeeping and support for internal financial reviews Regular tracking of sales and operational expenses (in coordination with other teams) Requirements: Proficiency in Tally ERP software Knowledge of Indian taxation laws (TDS, GST, etc.) Strong understanding of accounting principles Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Good communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting Experience in the food & beverage or retail sector (optional but preferred) reporting to a finance head or owner).
