Accountant

Mobio Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping:

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:

• Process and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage accounts receivable by monitoring customer accounts, sending statements, and following up on overdue payments.
• Facilitate timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
• Generate and analyze various financial reports to support informed decision-making.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist with audit preparation to maintain financial transparency.

Expense Management:

• Monitor and control expenses to optimize resource allocation.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Data Integrity:

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data through regular data validation and cleansing processes.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
• 3+ year of experience in an accounting role (or equivalent internship experience)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP, IFRS)
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
