Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Accountant position based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and recording financial transactions, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. Day-to-day responsibilities also include budgeting, analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, the role will require collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support financial decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial record-keeping, budgeting, and reconciliation tasks
• Strong understanding of tax preparation, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar applications
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in accounting roles; experience in manufacturing or packaging industries is a plus
• Knowledge of global financial practices and familiarity with export documentation is an advantage
