Job Title: Accountant Location: On-site – Surat, India Job Type: Full-time About Iraah: Iraah is a thoughtfully crafted brand offering premium gold and diamond jewellery. With a presence across multiple stockist locations and partner stores. We’re focused on building a strong backend to support our growth, and we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial records, vendor accounts, and partner-related payments. Role Overview: We are seeking an Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, manage accounts payable/receivable, and assist in financial reporting. The ideal candidate is well-organized, understands retail/wholesale accounting, and can ensure smooth coordination with stockist partners, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update daily accounting records using Gati software. Track and manage payments to and from stockist partners, vendors, and suppliers. Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment receipts. Reconcile bank statements and monitor company expenses. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain inventory records and coordinate with the team to track stock movement and billing. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Work with CA or auditor for tax filings and audits. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in retail, fashion, or B2B business is a plus). Proficiency in accounting software (Gati Software). Strong understanding of GST, invoicing, and financial compliance. Good Excel and data entry skills. High attention to detail, reliability, and confidentiality. Preferred Skills: Experience working with D2C or B2B product brands. Ability to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency. Understanding of inventory accounting or costing.
