Accountant – Stock Broking Firm
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our stock broking firm. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of statutory compliances and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:-
· Manage general accounting functions, including preparation and maintenance of books of accounts.
· Handle invoice processing
· Prepare and file GST and TDS returns in line with statutory regulations.
· Process salary, PF, PT, ESIC, TDS, and other statutory payments accurately and on time.
· Maintain and oversee individual and firm accounts related to brokerage operations.
· Coordinate with banks for Bank Guarantees (BG), Fixed Deposit (FD) renewals, and related processes.
· Assist in internal audits, resolve queries, and coordinate with Chartered Accountants.
· Prepare and manage sale vouchers, purchase vouchers, and credit notes to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications & Skills:-
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / M.Com / MBA Finance.
· Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Knowledge of statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT).
· Strong attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
