Accountant

Halcyon Traveltech LLP, a fast-growing property management and holiday home rental company in Kerala, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our financial operations. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing financial insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and cash flow monitoring
• Prepare and update MIS reports for management review
• Handle GST/TDS filing and ensure statutory compliance
• Perform revenue and commission reconciliation
• Carry out daily bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls
• Manage payroll, payables, and receivables
• Prepare and verify invoices
• Provide financial analysis to management for decision-making
• Monitor company and property-related daily expenses
• Track guest booking payments and ensure accuracy
• Prepare weekly property Profit & Loss statements, ARR, and RevPAR
• Monitor and report on fixed and non-fixed assets and inventory (monthly)
• Ensure client share/rent is credited on time
• Coordinate payroll processing and confirmation of salary disbursements

Working Hours & Attendance

• Days: Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday off)
• Timings: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Akkulam/Thiruvananthapuram (On-site role)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accountant
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
