Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the company’s financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting practices, prepare reports, support management in financial decision-making, and also handle day-to-day purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash flow management.
• Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary filings.
• Monitor and control expenses in line with company policies.
• Assist in audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.
• Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
• Purchasing responsibilities:
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor payments, and maintain supplier records.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and office supplies.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure best pricing and quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems).
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in vendor management or purchasing will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
