Role Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the veterinary hospital. Prepare and present monthly financial statements and reports. Oversee budget preparation and adherence, ensuring financial stability. Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings. Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit management. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial information. Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve hospital operations. Liaise with veterinarians and staff to gather essential financial data. Implement and maintain accounting systems and software. Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for daily operations. Collaborate with management on financial planning and analysis. Assist in financial training for staff as required. Communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in tax law. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the veterinary or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks). Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in MS Excel and other office applications. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in budget management and financial reporting. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and accuracy.
