Accountant

Job Description : We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, handle daily accounting tasks, and support the financial operations of our travel company. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the travel industry or service sector and a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and reconciliation practices. Key Responsibilities: Record daily financial transactions, invoices, payments, and receipts. Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Reconcile bank statements and company books. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Monitor and manage cash flow, credit limits, and outstanding balances. Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers and vendors. File and maintain records for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. Coordinate with the sales and operations team for payment collection and bookings. Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and travel-related expenses. Assist in the preparation of audit reports and liaise with external auditors. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (travel industry preferred). Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software. Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools. Preferred: Experience in managing vendor payments and customer billing in a travel or hospitality setup. Understanding of package costing, mark-ups, and travel operations is a plus. Salary: As per industry standards / Based on experience Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 7:00pm
