Job Description: Accountant Cum Data Entry Operator Department: Store & Accounts Company: Khadkeshwara Farms & Foods Pvt. Ltd. Location: Feed Mill / Plant / Office (as applicable) Position OverviewThe Accountant Cum Data Entry Operator will be responsible for maintaining accurate store records, performing routine accounting tasks, and managing various data entry activities. The role supports day-to-day operations by ensuring timely data updates, documentation accuracy, and proper coordination with the store, purchase, accounts, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Store & Inventory Management: Maintain store inward/outward registers for raw materials, packing materials, feed ingredients and finished goods. Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for all incoming materials. Record issue slips/material requisition slips accurately. Track daily consumption of raw materials and stock movement. Assist in physical stock verification and reconciliation. Update inventory data in ERP/Excel on a daily basis. 2. Accounting & Documentation: Assist in basic accounting entries such as purchase entries, sales entries, expense booking, journal entries, etc. Match purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier invoices. Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, receipts and payment records. Support month-end closing activities with the Accounts team. Maintain petty cash records and expense statements (if assigned). 3. Data Entry & Reporting: Enter daily production data, stock reports, material usage, and dispatch details. Update Excel sheets/ERP systems with accurate and timely information. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. Compile miscellaneous data like attendance, transport records, vendor details, etc. 4. Coordination & Support: Coordinate with Store Incharge, Production Supervisor, Purchase, Accounts, and Dispatch teams. Assist in documentation required for audits, compliance and internal reviews. Maintain proper filing (physical & digital) of all documents. Address any discrepancies in records and ensure data accuracy. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: B.Com / BBA / M.Com or equivalent qualification. Experience: 0–3 years in accounts, data entry, or store/admin roles (poultry/feed mill experience preferred). Technical Skills: MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, data entry accuracy) Basic accounting knowledge ERP or Tally experience (preferred) Other Skills: Good communication and coordination skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle multi-tasking and meet timelines Competencies: Strong numerical aptitude Discipline and ownership of work Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ethical and confidential handling of company data
