Job Title: Accounts Assistant Department: Accounts & Finance Location: Devanahalli Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Plant Manager Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance and operations team at the Feed Production Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks, and performing data entry of production and inventory-related information. Key Responsibilities Accounts & Finance: Assist in maintaining books of accounts including purchase, sales, journal, and cash entries. Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, and bills. Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management. Help with monthly GST, TDS, and other statutory returns filing. Support the preparation of financial statements and reports. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment status and queries. Data Entry & Record Maintenance: Record daily production and consumption data. Maintain raw material and finished goods stock records. Update ERP or Excel-based systems with accurate and timely data. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management. Ensure all documentation is organized and archived systematically. Key Skills Required Basic accounting knowledge (Tally/ERP knowledge preferred). Proficient in MS Excel and data entry. Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks. Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt. Qualifications B.Com / M.Com or equivalent in Accounting or Finance. 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred, but freshers may also apply). Work Environment Location: On-site at the feed production plant. Full-time position; may require extended hours during peak periods.
