Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Driver Company: Khadkeshwara Farms & Foods Pvt. Ltd. Location: Kolar & Devanahalli, Karnataka Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate company-owned vehicles for the safe and timely transportation of goods between our farms, plants, and customer locations. The vehicle and fuel (diesel) will be provided by the company. The driver’s responsibility will be focused solely on driving and overseeing the loading and unloading process. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company-owned heavy vehicles (trucks, feed carriers, poultry transport vehicles, etc.) on assigned routes. Ensure timely delivery of goods between Kolar, Devanahalli, and other locations as directed. Monitor and oversee the proper loading and unloading of materials (actual physical loading/unloading will be done by designated staff). Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness (oil, fuel, tyre pressure, brakes, lights, etc.). Adhere strictly to traffic rules, safety protocols, and company policies. Keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the Transport/Operations Manager. Maintain delivery logs, fuel usage records, and trip reports as per company requirements. Requirements: License: Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV/HTV) driving license issued in India. Experience: Minimum 1 year of driving heavy vehicles, preferably in poultry, agriculture, or logistics. Good knowledge of Karnataka roads, especially between Kolar and Devanahalli. Ability to undertake long-distance and night driving when required. Responsible, punctual, and disciplined in work habits. Physically fit for handling vehicle inspections and overseeing loading/unloading. Work Conditions: Company-owned vehicle will be assigned for duty. Diesel and vehicle maintenance will be fully handled by the company. Driver is not required to manually load/unload goods—only to supervise and check the process. Work hours will vary depending on operational requirements; may include early mornings, nights, or weekends. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary as per industry standards.
