Job Description

Purpose of the Role: To manage day-to-day accounting, costing, compliance, and inventory-related financial controls specific to electronics manufacturing operations such as PCB assembly, component sourcing, production, and dispatch. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain books of accounts (Tally / ERP) Record purchase, sales, journal, contra, and bank entries Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) Handle accounts payable & receivable Prepare monthly trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet 2. Cost Accounting Calculate product-wise cost: Raw material (electronic components, PCB, wires, connectors) Direct labor Machine & overhead costs Maintain BOM costing and job-wise costing Analyze: Cost variance Scrap, rejection, and rework cost Support pricing & quotation for customers 3. Inventory Accounting & Control Maintain inventory records for: Electronic components WIP (Work in Progress) Finished goods Track GRN, issue to production, and consumption Monitor: Slow-moving & obsolete components Inventory valuation (FIFO / weighted average) Coordinate physical stock verification 4. GST & Statutory Compliance (India) Prepare & file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation) Handle input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation Manage E-way bills TDS compliance & returns Support: Statutory audits GST / Income Tax audits 5. Manufacturing & Production Coordination Coordinate with: Purchase department Production planning Stores & dispatch Ensure accurate cost flow from purchase → production → sales Track job cards & production reports for financial accuracy
