Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Dear Applicant We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant - Automobile Industry / Dealership (will be an added advantage) to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial records and reports, maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, and support management in financial decision-making. Location : Lucknow City Automobile Industry Proficient on Wings Software will be an added advantage General Accounting & Reporting General Ledger (GL): Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified. Finalization: Assist in the timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes. Financial Statements: Support the preparation of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements. Bank & Cash: Daily reconciliation of bank accounts and management of petty cash. Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits, ensuring all required information is readily available. Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) AP Management: Process vendor invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely and accurate payment runs. This includes monitoring all expenses related to service, parts, and administration. AR Management: Generate and manage customer invoices (for vehicle sales, service, and parts). Perform follow-up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection, thereby optimizing cash flow. Inter-company/Dealer Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other group entities (if applicable). Automobile Industry Specific Functions Inventory Accounting (Vehicles & Parts): Maintain accurate records for vehicle and spare parts inventory, including purchase, cost of sales (COS), and valuation adjustments. Monitor and reconcile physical inventory with ledger balances regularly. Service & Workshop Costing: Accurately book revenue and costs related to vehicle servicing, repair jobs, and warranty claims. Vehicle Sale Accounting: Ensure proper accounting of new and used vehicle sales transactions, including booking of margins, RTO charges, and incentive schemes.
