Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Title: Accountant – Logistics & Transportation (TMS Software) Location: MR 11 main road Dewas Naka , Indore (M.P) 452010 Working Days: 28 days per month( Sundays are Half day ) 2 Days leaves included in 28 days  Office Timings: 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM --- Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the logistics/transportation industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations using TMS (Transport Management System) software, handling LR challans, debtor and payable entries, bank reconciliation, and GST-related data including RCM coordination with the CA. --- Key Responsibilities Accounting & Data Entry Maintain daily accounting records in TMS and accounting software Enter and verify LR (Lorry Receipt) / Challan entries Record debtor (receivables) and payable entries Ensure accurate freight billing and cost allocation Banking & Reconciliation Perform bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis Track payments received and payments made Coordinate with operations team for payment follow-ups GST & Compliance Prepare and maintain GST data for outward and inward supplies Maintain RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism) records for transport-related expenses Share GST, RCM, and TDS data with Chartered Accountant (CA) on a timely basis Assist in GST returns, audits, and compliance requirements Reporting & Coordination Prepare monthly statements for debtors, creditors, and expenses Coordinate with operations, billing, and management teams Maintain proper documentation and filing of vouchers and challans --- Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance 1–3 years of experience in logistics or transport accounting preferred Hands-on experience with TMS software Good knowledge of GST, RCM, and basic TDS Experience in bank reconciliation Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred) Strong attention to detail and time management skills --- Preferred Experience Experience in transport, freight forwarding, or logistics companies Knowledge of freight billing and transporter payments --- Salary As per industry standards and experience
