Account Manager - Renewable Energy

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to undertake and handle the day-to-day accounting operations of our renewable energy vertical. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background with working knowledge of ERP systems, tally, SAP, knowledge of statutory compliance. Should have knowledge and hands on working experience in maintaining day to day accounting function of the company maintaining the general ledger, journals, statutory registers, preparation of trial balance, P&L account, balance sheet, in line with the accounting standards and financial reporting. This role will ensure accurate accounting, timely closing of books, and adherence to internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

• Undertake daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain registers such as stock, asset etc.
• Ensure timely book closure on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Review and approve journal vouchers, provisions, and accruals as per accounting standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records in compliance with IND AS / Companies Act.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and project-wise cost reports.
• Ensure accurate project capitalization, depreciation, and asset register maintenance.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
• Preparation of trial balance, Profit and loss accounts, balance sheet and assist in preparation of annual reports. 

Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for smooth audit closure.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies.

ERP and System Integration:

• Manage ERP accounting modules (SAP (FI/CO module) and ensure accurate system-based reporting.
• Lead automation of accounting processes and reconciliations through ERP tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CA with strong accounting background
• 6–10 years in core accounting roles, preferably in the renewable energy (IPP, EPC, OEMs) industry.
• Proficient in ERP tools SAP (FI/CO module).

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Strong knowledge of IND AS, Companies Act, and general accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with project accounting, cost tracking, and reconciliations
• Good command over Excel and MIS reporting tools
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and team management capabilities.
